About the CLIENT
Voltsman is a well-known name in the world of energy. A part of the esteemed Eastman group- Voltsman provides charging solutions for all types of electrical vehicles.
Importance of Formulating Brand Guidelines for the Brand
While Voltsman was ready to spread its wings, it did not have a uniform communication style. As a result, its messaging appeared inconsistent across platforms. This resulted in the brand coming across as unsophisticated and wanting in credibility. Without a distinct style- the brand also had difficulty building recall as customers could not remember them without a distinct branding identity.
Hence, the company approached us about creating its brand guidelines; including in-shop guidelines.
Our objectives for making the brand guidelines were:
To create brand guidelines which will be in sync with the brand’s values and USP.
To help the brand create a distinct identity that makes it stand out from its competitors.
To help the brand build recall among its target audiences.
What we did for the CLIENT
Having understood the requirements, this is what we did for Voltsman:
1. Identified and mapped out a distinct visual identity for the brand.
2. Created specific guidelines while expanding on elements like the color palette, logo placements, typography, type of images and use of patterns.
3. Fleshed out the brand’s tone of voice and created guidelines on usage of language and certain key words.
4. Elaborated on the tagline to make it easy for content creators to understand what the brand is about, its offerings, USP and personality.
5. Compiled the company’s mission and vision statements with all the above mentioned elements and created a brand guide that was visually appealing, informative and encapsulated the essence of the brand.
The Result
Voltsman could establish a distinct image in the market by crafting its messaging according to the brand guidelines.
The brand could clearly claim its legacy as a part of the Eastman Group without compromising on its unique identity.
Voltsman could ensure that its messaging remained consistent across all platforms.
By being distinct and memorable- the brand started gaining better recognition among its target audiences and building recall.
